On February 11, 2018, my husband and I both received
confirmation emails from the Midwest Comic Book Association that we are confirmed
as guest creators for MSPComiCon 2018, to be held May 19th – 20th
2018 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds Grandstand building.
I was excited to see both of us listed on the website as

In addition to our individual merchandise, we will be
debuting a joint creation. We will have the ashcan of an original comic book
ready by then. Bud will be doing the story and I’ll be doing the art. Our three
cats will be featured as original superheroes. Together they will be known as
P.U.R.R. – Pussycats United for Rest and Relaxation.
It seems a natural extension of our life together. Partners
in life as man and wife and now partners in our creative activities. We’re
constantly bouncing ideas off each other. “What if we did this?” “Will you be
able to draw this?”
All of this has God’s fingerprints all over it. As we both
trust Him, He shows us new and exciting things in our life with each other and
with Him.
Will our creative venture be successful? I’d like to believe
it will, but it’s best to leave the results in God’s hands. We’ll do our best
possible work and trust God to bless our efforts.
